The extension to the girls’ secondary school within the Maria Regina College of Mosta – an investment of €600,000 – was inaugurated recently.

From this year, it started welcoming students that used to attend other secondary schools.

The former Lily of the Valley school was identified for this purpose as it could accommodate the required extension. It is equipped with interactive white boards and laboratories.

Education Minister Dolores Cristina said there were many other school projects were under way, which created jobs. It is estimated that a building of the sort requires 130 workers, she said.
