A revised electoral register for general, local council and European Parliament elections was published last week in the Government Gazette.

The Electoral Commission is urging those whose name has not been included in the register or whose details are listed incorrectly to inform a revising officer by November 18.

The commission emphasised the importance of verifying the details in the register as “failure to do so may result in the loss of a person’s entitlement to vote”.

The Local Councils Register is available at the respective local council offices and at police stations, while the general election and European Union registers are available at the Electoral Office in Valletta. The registers are also available for sale from the Department of Information.
