It is said that men are from Mars, women are from Venus and I think that it can be said that the Nationalists are from Mercury, Labour from Pluto – the two ends of our planet system.

I live abroad but I try to read various Maltese newspapers (in Maltese also), from all sides but I do get the impression that these are on two different planets.

Is it possible that events or the situation in Malta can be so differently described?

Before I visit Malta (the one on planet earth), I don’t know what I should expect but it seems like I should be a schizophrenic.

How about the government treatingthe Opposition with dignity and, perhaps, think that what they are sayingcould be of some benefit and stop being so arrogant?

And maybe the Opposition can try and think that the government could perhaps be doing something right and beneficial and, yes, stop being arrogant.

The Opposition and the government do not necessarily have to be opposites to each other.

Is it not arrogance that is leading to all these libel cases? I have lost count of how many libel cases are ongoing just in the last two weeks.

How is it possible that the people of Malta get any attention when everyone is busy pushing libel cases against the other.

Is it possible we can have res-ponsible governance?
