Renzo Arbore and his Orchestra Italiana will be back this summer with their catchy tunes that will take the audience on a lively journey through different musical epochs.

Five years ago, Mr Arbore, 74, considered the ambassador of Neapolitan song, proved quite popular with the Maltese in a similar concert held at Ta’ Qali. Despite his age, he is known to younger people mostly as a singer and musician. But in Italy, his reputation as a radio and television presenter are immortalised in the memories of older people.

Mr Arbore and his 16-strong orchestra have been touring the world since the early 1990s, performing in Russia, the US, Canada, Britain, China and South America.

The concert will take place on July 28 at the MFCC in Ta’ Qali.

Easy Life Promotions will be donating €1 to the Malta Community Chest Fund for every ticket sold.
