Malta’s accession to the EU in 2004 and the events leading up to it are embedded in the memory of all those who lived through them.

To mark the island’s 10 years of membership of the EU, Times of Malta is publishing a one-off commemorative book featuring photos of the events linked to the membership process.

The 160-page The Times Picture Annual – EU Accession 2004-2014 Special Anniversary Edition is a pictorial publication, including messages from Prime Minister Joseph Muscat and Opposition leader Simon Busuttil.

Readers will be able to go back in time to see the photos of the EU referendum campaign and the referendum itself, the 2003 general election and the historic signing of the accession treaty.

The Times Picture Annual – EU Accession 2004-2014 Special Anniversary Edition is a limited edition publication that can only be bought through a direct order by Times of Malta readers.
