Playmobil Fun Park was once again the scene of Breakfast With Santa, a popular activity among Maltese children and families during the holiday season, and Santa Claus’ last stop before heading back to Lapland.

The theme of this year’s event centred around Playmobil’s Cowboys and Indians set, as well as the Hotel Bellboy figure.

Doors opened at 8.30am, when children and their parents made their way into the fun park castle to find the place set up for the great event.

After enjoying a fun-filled breakfast, Santa and the children took part in a number of interactive games, where they were joined by a number of Playmobil characters. After finishing off his milk and cookies, Santa did what he does best – listening to children and handing out gifts.

The event turned out to be memorable for the young and young at heart, with parents, who were also treated to breakfast, being caught up in the fun and warmth of the occasion. This year, Santa also hosted a few special guests – the winners of The Times’ Junior News competition and another three lucky winners of Playmbobil’s Wish-list Competition.

This year’s Breakfast With Santa was the 12th since its launch shortly after the tragic events of 9/11.

“The idea behind the activity was to remind children that there is a rainbow after every storm,” said Playmobil Malta sales and marketing manager Anna Agius.
