A record 265 part-time courses are being offered as from October by the Malta College of Arts, Science and Technology, including higher national diploma (Level 5) courses.

The course sessions are all to be held during the evenings, which is a convenient option for people who feel they are unable to engage in full-time educational programmes due to employment, business, family or other commitments.

These courses are particularly aimed at adults whose work or family commitments make it difficult for them to follow full-time education, but who would still like to acquire skills and qualifications to secure new jobs, seek career advancement or simply to learn more about subjects that interest them.

Students aged 16 and over may also enroll in these courses to support their full-time education with additional know-ledge, skills and experiences.

The September 2014 part-time course prospectus booklet has been posted to all homes and businesses in Malta.

The prospectus and application form may also be obtained from the Mcast main campus, Corradino Hill, Paola and from the college’s Gozo centres in Xagħra and Xewkija.

Applications may submitted online as from tomorrow through the website www.mcast.edu.mt/ shortcourses.

Hard copies of completed application forms may be sent to the Office of Part-Time Courses, Mcast main campus, Corradino Hill, Paola PLA 9032 or handed in at Mcast’s main campus between tomorrow and September 12, on weekdays from 8.30am to 7pm.

For details or advice, call Mcast on 2398 7103, 2398 7116 or e-mail shortcourses@ mcast.edu.mt.

Mcast’s part-time training programmes are managed by the college’s commercial arm Mcast Gateway to Industry Ltd.
