Propertymarket.com.mt recently organised a football tournament between its partner real estate agents in collaboration with the Puttinu Care Football Marathon.

The day started off with heavy rain and there was fear that the event might have to be cancelled. Fortunately, the forecast was correct and it all cleared up, turning out to be a beautiful day, just in time.

The eight teams met at noon to battle it out and see who would be crowned football champions of Malta’s real estate.

The quarter final results were: Quick Lets 4- North Key Real Estate 1; Frank Salt (A Team) 7-Century 21 0; Frank Salt (B Team) 7-Ben Estates 1; and Zanzi Homes 1-Ben Estates North 1 (Zanzi won on penalties).

The semi-final results were: Frank Salt (A Team) 4-Zanzi Homes 1; and Quick Lets 4-Frank Salt (B Team) 3.

The final match was held at 4pm between Frank Salt (A Team) and Quick Lets. The players were all tired but still put in their 100 per cent effort for the win. The first half was fast-paced and exciting, with quite a few shots on goal but ended 0-0.

In the second half, the players came out even more determined to score and Frank Salt were soon 1-0 up, soon after Quick Lets had equalised. It looked like the game was going in to penalties, when Frank Salt managed to score with minutes to go and take the win, making them champions.

Daniel Mountford, co-founder of Propertymarket.com.mt and organiser of the event, said: “We wanted to bring our partner agents together to compete in a fun, safe environment and help raise money for Puttinu Cares. The turnout was great. Congratulations to Frank Salt Real Estate’.”
