The Victoria International Arts Festival continues with its final offerings this evening with a concert by the Marino Marini Quartet from Italy at the Aula Mgr G. Farrugia.

The ensemble is comprised of Roberto Meoni (clarinet), Marco Corsini (violin), Giacomo Ugolini (violoncello) and Ilaria Baldaccini (pianoforte).

The concert will be entirely dedicated to the works of Paul Hindemith.

Tomorrow, at St George’s Basilica, there will be a performance of Benjamin Britten’s Ceremony of Carols by the Rochester Cathedral Choir under the direction of Scott Farrell.

Britt Arend, harpist with the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra, will be accompanying.  Other works performed will feature motets by Mozart, Dering, Handel, Langlais and more. Flutist Rebecca Hall and harpist Britt Arend will perform a concert of works by Bach, Fauré, Ibert, and more at St Francis church on Sunday.

All concerts start at 8pm. VIAF is sponsored by the GCSP within Arts Council Malta.
