We live in Tal-Virtù and the 53 and 203 buses are supposed to go round the area and back into Rabat. I have to attend Sir Paul Boffa Hospital daily and, since we do not have a car, we have to rely on the bus service.

The problem is that when a bus is delayed for whatever reason the drivers miss us out altogether. One driver changed the route to drop his friend off and only went back onto his route under protest.

We now walk to the Rabat interchange to get a bus as the service is so unreliable. When are Arriva going to serve the public and not do what they want, to the detriment of the customers? If they cannot provide a satisfactory service they should say so, pull out and let another company come in.

The government should also take more interest and ensure the service is run properly.
