A few ex-British service personnel are in search of the location of a building near to what was once RAF Siġġiewi.

In order to get to it you turned right out of the camp and walked up the hill toward the village of Siġġiewi and roughly 300 to 400 yards on the left hand side there was a rough track that led up a hill to a perfectly square concrete block house.

The most striking part of this structure would have been four large antennae located at the primary compass points of north, east, south and west.

I am not sure what happened to the building. All of our inquiries so far have come up with negative results, so we are hoping readers might be able to help with either confirmation of the location or, possibly, photos, which would be a bonus.

We also have a website that is devoted to RAF Siġġiewi. It can be accessed at http://www.raf-siggiewi-malta.com/ .
