A 650-figurine miniature exhibition of one of the earliest Good Friday processions has been set up at St Francis Chapel, Main Street, in Qormi.

Alfred Mangion, 70, has been building the replica, which reflects the village’s passion for the Good Friday procession, in his free time since 1994. The figurines are made of clay, papier mâché, wood and cloth, among other materials.

The exhibition is open between 5.30 and 9.30 p.m. on weekdays and 9.30 a.m. to noon, and 5.30 to 10 p.m. on weekends.
