A gruesome pile of burnt bones, wood and cloth found outside the Addolorata Cemetery could be the remnants of a cleaned-out grave that was set on fire instead of being reburied, sources said.

The burnt pile was discovered yesterday morning by a Health Ministry official, stationed at the cemetery, who filed a police report. The ministry said the official noticed a pile of burnt wood, cloth and human remains outside the cemetery grounds in Sta Luċija.
