A Scottish woman was placed on probation for three years yesterday after admitting injuring a policewoman in Gozo.

The 39-year-old woman appeared before Magistrate Paul Coppini charged with resisting and threatening a police officer, a police sergeant and slightly injuring another in Victoria on May 4.

Amanda Edwards also pleaded guilty to criminal damage, breaching the peace and being drunk in public.

She was charged with committing the crime while on a conditional release granted on March 22.
