I again wish to remind the President and the Justice Minister to reconsider their recent decision not to pardon Godfrey Ellul. Ellul is 67 years old, terminally ill, and has already spent the larger part of his sentence behind bars.

He just suffered another blow when he got to know his pardon wasn’t granted.

He didn’t murder anyone, he isn’t a risk to society and has shown enough sincere remorse over his past actions. Therefore I hope the President and the Justice Minister will grant him his well-deserved pardon so that he will be able to spend his last years with his loved ones.
