On Sunday, my wife and I went for a coffee at a popular cafeteria in Attard. At the shop they have posters everywhere saying: “zeppoli @ €1.45c each”.

However, when paying at the counter, the girl charged us €1.95 each. Thinking that she made a mistake, I pointed this out to her but she promptly replied: “No, that is the correct price. You see, if you take the zeppoli as a take-away the price is €1.45 each but if you remain on the premises the price is €1.95c.”

It was useless telling her that they should have made that clear on their posters.

I find that this is really a cheap way to treat customers.
