I refer to Valerie Borg’s letter In The Heat Of The Moment (October 3) in which she stated that since Minister Austin Gatt said that the Nationalist Party will remain in office “for another 20 years” and since, also, he made this statement “in summer” he must have been suffering from “a touch of sunstroke” and that he “surely would not have come up with that kind of talk had he been in a normal state of mind”.

Due to the above, one can remind Ms Borg and all other Labour Party spokesmen that this was exactly what they had stated when I had publicly predicted a Nationalist Party victory in the March 8, 2008 general election. By her same line of thought, should this be taken to mean that all Labour Party spokesmen who then rushed into print to deny my prediction were suffering from “a touch of sunstroke” considering they were all proved wrong?

As a consequence, were they, and are they, “in a normal state of mind”?
