It’s always a pleasure to see “a” Paul-Portelli-choice flower and his comments. I’m fortunate to have his book Habitat: Malta’s Natural Heritage. On page 47 is the hot pink pyramidal orchid, a gem. The robin on page 119 comes pecking at my patio feeder. I just love the hoopoe on page 118. Every photo is precious!

I also enjoyed reading the article in The Times on the giant penguins. I hope children will discuss them in their class. I often send my mother printouts of these articles because, at age 96, she’s a big child!
