I recently went to catch the 2.30pm bus number 222 from the Sliema ferries to Ċirkewwa.

The bus duly arrived at 2.45pm and the journey started.

At 3.30pm, some 45 minutes later, we had reached the ‘Love’ monument at Spinola Bay.

The bus arrived at Ċirkewwa at 4.30pm, an hour and 45 minutes after leaving Sliema, a distance of some 26 kilometres. Perhaps Transport Malta would like to comment? The government has no argument for people leaving their cars at home if this is a sample of the service.
