Moments before EU and African leaders arrived for the Valletta Summit on Migration yesterday, activist Antoine Cassar took to Pjazza Teatru Rjal to stage a one-man demonstration to shed light on migration realities by ‘selling’ €5 passports. Their insignia portrayed a migrating goose flying over a Pacific-centred globe, and inside was a love poem to humanity as a naturally migrating species. He also arranged the decorative blocks by the theatre to read “No Border”.
