Photographers are invited to submit their works for a competition and exhibition aimed at raising awareness and stimulating debate on equality issues.

For the project ‘Think Equal VS/2010/0569’, artists are encouraged to express their reflections on issues of equality and non-discrimination.

Photographers are asked to submit photos or a series of photos showing instances of discrimination or equality in Malta.

The Equality in Arts and Photographic Competition and Exhibition is open to professionals and non-professionals.

Artistic and photographic submissions will be shown in a travelling exhibition.

The submissions will be judged by the public and an expert team. The winners will be invited to attend an awards ceremony held during the Diversity through Music Concert and prizes will be awarded.

Three monetary vouchers will be presented as awards, with a €400 voucher as first prize, a €170 voucher as second and a €90 voucher as third prize.

Certificates of participation and award will also be given.

The deadline for submissions is September 16 at noon.
