A woman, 67, sustained serious injuries when she was hit by a car while crossing the road at her hometown, Dingli, yesterday.

The police said the accident happened in Cliffs Street at about 5.45pm. They said the car, a Honda Accord, was driven by 19-year-old man, also of Dingli.
