How the Prime Minister, Lawrence Gonzi, is able to appear on the news bulletins, time and again, flashing his artificial big smile notwithstanding all the gaffes that he committed in the past legislature is beyond the comprehension of thousands of clear-headed Maltese on both sides of the political spectrum.

It beggars belief how anyone with average intelligence imbued with an honest disposition can allow oneself to be fooled by the Prime Minister’s smooth talk, often citing populistic principles and platitudes, that historically were anathema to the PN of yesteryear, principles and values that have also been recently betrayed with impunity over and over again, on issues and problems that have been stalking this PN legislature since its inception more than five years ago.

Political hypocrisy and deceit are innate characteristics of the majority of PN politicians and it is these two virtueless characteristics that they often use with devastating effect to manipulate the minds of the Maltese electorate.

Allow me a final word of advise dear readers. Beware indeed how you cast your votes on Saturday.
