An online art library featuring Paul McCartney’s photos, video footage from live concerts and music recordings has been launched by HP.

The collection consists of more than one million items, including rolls of film, videotapes, reels, original works of art and memorabilia.

“It’s really exciting because even if I’m out on tour anywhere in the world, I will be able to say, okay, ‘Wings 1976 tour’ and instantly, it will come up. You’ve got all the information, all the photos from it,” said McCartney.

Jan Zadak, HP’s executive vice president of enterprise sales and marketing, said: “Working with MPL Communications, Ltd., we are demonstrating how an Instant-On music organisation can be achieved to create, manage and distribute engaging content to an increasingly connected world.”

Further information about MPL Communications, Ltd and its Instant-On journey, as well as access to videos and details on the digital library, is available online at www.hp.com/go/mccartney.
