The sudden death of our much loved teacher, Mr Paul Harty, came as a shock and devastating blow to all of us at St Edward’s College.

Mr Harty was an outstanding teacher, who was respected by all his students and colleagues. Besides being a great teacher, he was a mentor and good friend to most of us.

We will surely miss his sense of fun, positive attitude and the inspiration that he brought to our school. We will never forget his smile and his encouraging ‘know thyself’. His passion for teaching was obvious to all who had the pleasure to be in his class.

Our thoughts are with Mr Harty’s family and friends at this difficult time, and we hope they take comfort and strength from the knowledge that he was loved and respected by all who met him.
