Over 200 people involved with Aġenzija Sapport’s day services attended a pasta night hosted recently by President George Abela at Verdala Palace, Buskett.

Clients, staff, support workers and representatives from the parents’ committee mingled with local personalities including J. Anvil, Hooligan, Marisa D’Amato, Stef and Riona, Xtend, CCK dancers, Hailey Genovese, Elvis Junior, and Hailey and friends.

The activity forms part of a series of events organised throughout the year as part of the day services integration programme offered to clients. The aim of this programme is to help people with disabilities gain more independence and develop their full potential, as well as to give support to their families.

The pasta night also gave clients from different centres the opportunity to socialise with each other, as well as help in the preperation of the event.

Aġenzija Sapport has nine day centres located in Paola, St Venera, Ħal Far, Fleurs-de-Lys, Marsascala, Swatar, Vittoriosa and Imtarfa. Currently 410 clients attend Aġenzija Sapport’s day services.
