The House of Representatives rose for the Christmas holidays yesterday after starting the debate in second reading on the Criminal Code (Amendment) Bill.

Introducing the Bill, Parliamentary Secretary Owen Bonnici said this makes a provision in relation to the forfeiture of parental authority over children. (A full report will be published tomorrow).

The House will meet again on January 13, 2014.
