I can’t understand the parking rules or what’s written between the lines. I am referring to Triq Dun Karm area in Birkirkara, close to the subway.

Can someone explain how some shops managed to obtain four parking spaces for their clients? Is this permitted? Is this an incentive to every shop owner to have four parking spaces for their clients’ use?

Or is it a matter of who you know? Are we paying fines and licences to protect other needs?

One must also remember that this area is also protected with a residential parking zone.

I expect an explanation from both the Birkirkara council and Transport Malta, to whom I am paying taxes just like the shopowners.
