On October 4, I had a 9am appointment at the University of Malta. I was told to park in white-marked rectangles or in the blue ones.

Going round the entire place several times to find a parking place was futile. I was advised by the parking officials that to find a parking place I have to come early.

So anyone having an appointment any time in the morning should go there before 8am or perhaps even before 7.30am. The situation at the moment is chaotic. One particular parking area, for example, has the terrain more suitable for a tractor than a car.

Considering that the institution is meant to educate our students, I find it quite strange that over the years the University has not come up with a reasonable way of managing a car park and ensuring that anyone wanting to get there at any time of the day can do so.
