Italian shipyard company Palumbo added a feather to its cap last week when King Juan Carlos of Spain and Prince Albert of Monaco toured the Palumbo-built superyacht Prima Colombus 177 in Monte Carlo. The vessel was designed by Hid Rotech Naval Architect Sergio Cutolo and interior designer Tommaso Spadolini and was built in less than two years at Palumbo’s Naples shipyard. It is named Prima because it is the first of its kind ever constructed in the southern Italian shipyards. Palumbo last year acquired the former Malta Shipyards in Cospicua on a 30-year lease.
