Lucas Pace and Nathan Grech have earned the right to re-present Malta at the Red Bull Kart Fight World Final in Austria next year.

Red Bull Kart Fight Malta saw over 600 drivers participate in the qualifying sessions held at the Badger Karting track over a period of two months, with the fastest drivers battling it out in the Finals Series last weekend.

The final was a showcase of talent and superb kart driving as Pace won the seniors class ahead of Jake Said and Clayton Laus.

Grech won the championship race for juniors after a fierce duel with Jon Said.

Ryan Borg joined them on the podium after placing third.

“I was really looking forward to the finals and cannot believe that I actually won the title,” Pace was quoted as saying after sealing his victory.

“My race was brilliant and I am very happy to be representing Malta in the World Final.”

Grech was also satisfied with his result at Badger Karting.

“I know that it might be difficult for a youngster like me to compete in the Finals series but I’ll give it my best, no doubt,” Grech said.
