Some of the world’s most influential PR and communications professionals, including Princess Diana’s chief of staff and the former press secretary to Princes Charles, William and Harry, are scheduled to be present at the Global PR Summit Malta, taking place on April 12 and 13 at the InterContinental Hotel in St Julian’s.

The two-day international gathering kicks off with a presentation by Mary Jo Jacobi, the ‘Iron Lady’ of the global PR world and former vice president at BP America during the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico.

Business professionals attending the event will also have the opportunity to  hear presentations on crisis communications, cybercrime, fake news, content PR and social media by Patrick Jephson, chief of staff to Princess Diana, Richard Stephenson from the Civil Communications Authority in the UK, Medard Schoenmaeckers from Credit Suisse, Zayna Aston from YouTube and Pierandrea Quarta from P&G.

The Global PR Summit Malta will also include a half-day interactive crisis simulation workshop with Donald Steel, former chief communications adviser at BBC.
