Most Nationalist Party supporters, including councillors and activists, can hardly ever lose enthusiasm permanently. Before and following the general election, one can say that interest faded – and this is in the process of being addressed – but only temporarily. It cannot be otherwise because the PN has always been led by leaders synonymous with historical achievements affecting our daily lives.

The commitment to reinvigorate the PN is now in progress and has started with the election of leaders and officials. Mario de Marco and Beppe Fenech Adami’s dedication to the party speaks for itself and does justice to their fathers’ exceptional service to this country.

Particularly striking was Dr Fenech Adami when he said that despite his active involvement within the party over a number of years, the receiving exceeded the giving. Coming from this politician, who was at the heart of political struggles which took away from him precious family time, it is very meaningful and inspirational for all.

Whatever one’s political leaning, one stands to benefit from successful implementation of policies and the PN has always excelled in producing results still tangible today. Consequently, the PN, with humility, its values and its fresh team spirit, can look forward to becoming once again the people’s winning party, perhaps even sooner than expected in the interest of all.
