Nationalist Party leadership contender Francis Zammit Dimech believes the party should not only remain in touch with its grassroots but also with civil society.

Speaking to PN members during an event in Sliema, Dr Zammit Dimech said that if elected as PN leader on May 4, he would embark on an outreach programme to not only increase party membership, but also take the party to towns and villages across Malta and Gozo.

He said the PN must become the people’s natural choice by becoming a people’s party, according to its values. This was why he was proposing that the party renews and strengthens itself.
