The Nationalist Party yesterday launched a new website in a drive to continue touching base with voters as the general election approaches.

Claiming a thirst for fresh ideas, party leader and Prime Minister Lawrence Gonzi yesterday launched www.mychoice.pn.

“I have a great thirst for new ideas and although I have plenty of my own, this will give people the opportunity to be heard... I can guarantee that we will listen. We want to hear your ambitions and what you want of us,” Dr Gonzi told the crowd at an activity at Salini Park in Qawra.

This website will serve as another instrument for the PN to listen to people using online communication. Everyone will be given the opportunity to voice their suggestions and be closer to the party, he said.

In a question and answer session with youngsters, Dr Gonzi said people had a choice to make and could no longer sit on the fence. This initiative was targeted at people of all ages.

Dr Gonzi said: “Give us the ideas, tell us what you think and then leave it up to us to turn those into reality and put them into practice.

“It is crucial that this forum works because it is an important step towards keeping in contact with you and listening to your dreams,” he said.
