The audit committee that the Nationalist Party set up to oversee its financial and administrative governance held its first meeting yesterday.

Party leader Simon Busuttil and secretary general Chris Said were present.

The board, chaired by Franz Wirth and having Malcolm Custò, Isabelle Vella, Eugenio Privitelli and Mario Galea as members, was another step towards a professionally-managed party, the PN said.
