The Labour Party will hold its annual demonstration in Valletta to mark Labour Day on May 1. The events will start with a national seminar on education on April 28 at the Aula Magna of the Old University.

On May 1 the party will hold a range of activities at St George’s Square, Valletta, including music, singing, dancing, discussions, activities for children and street theatre. There will be blood donations and fund-raising for Puttinu Cares.

The event will close with a traditional walk down Republic Street to St George’s Square where Labour leader Joseph Muscat will address the crowd.
