In the tunnel close to Customs House in Valletta is an old shrine dedicated to Our Lady. It is in dire need of some immediate TLC, possibly before 2018, when Valletta is set to become European cultural capital. Hundreds of tourists also use this tunnel to make their way into Valletta.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Shame

Shame on the dog ‘troopers’ who dirty the pavements in Santa Maria Estate, Mellieħa with dog excrement right under the dog poo disposal bin and next to the warning notice. Not only do they flout the law but they also insult the educated.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Wet justice

Buckets have had to be used to contain water from dripping ceilings at the law courts. Sources have said this has been the situation all throughout winter.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Brainwave

It’s been quite a while since we had postage stamps of this type locally. There is such a wealth for ideas in our museums. Is it possible we do not have anyone who can come up with some ideas on these lines?
