One of the installations at the Manikata church is in dire need of maintenance to say the least, as can be seen from the attached photo. Metal pieces are jutting out, and at least two “slabs” were broken and left there.

Spot the traffic lights

Bamboo shoots camouflage the traffic lights used by drivers exiting Marsaxlokk onto the main road that leads to Bir id-Deheb. Transport Malta or the cleansing department that fall under the same ministry please note.

 

 

 

Floating eyesore

This photo was taken on Friday morning at the Msida marina. The area should be cleaned immediately as the garbage not only harms the marine wildlife but also leaves a negative impression on the visitors to these islands.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Every drop counts

Finally the doors of heaven have opened and the Triton Fountain at City Gate might finally receive the water that it has been lacking since last winter. Let’s hope that it also gets a well-earned clean-up.

 

 

 

Now you see it, now you don’t

The hook in St John’s Street, Valletta, for which it is knows as Triq il-Ganċ in Maltese, is partly hidden by a plant when one looks down from Republic Street. Moving the planter to another spot in the street would not be amiss.
