In her letter of February 18, Valerie Borg wrote: “I do wish the two main political parties would stop reminding the public about the horrifying deaths of Karin Grech and Raymond Caruana… all this reminding only serves to hurt the people who loved them and to reopen old wounds.”

Borg could have been much more intellectually honest had she stated that both murders took place during Maltese Socialist mob rule: Karin Grech on December 28, 1977 and Raymond Caruana on December 5, 1986.
