It all started with a post of a class photo between a couple of old friends who got in touch recently on social media.

In a couple of days the group grew and grew, with Old Boys tagging others along the way. After a couple of weeks a reunion was boldly organised for past students who attended the Archbishop’s Seminary between 1974 and 1979.

The evening started with Mass celebrated by Mgr Victor Grech, who was school rector at their time, helped by Fr Mario Mifsud, who is an Old Boy of the group himself.

Mass at Tal-Virtu Seminary Chapel was followed by the obligatory group photo, the distribution of a small memento, the planting of a tree within the Seminary grounds to commemorate the occasion and a coach ride down to Lapsi for a fenkata between old friends.

The evening was filled with emotions as many of those attending had not seen their school mates since their last day of school nearly 40 years ago.
