Artists Anna Galea and Celia Borg Cardona are holding an exhibition at the Maltese embassy in Paris.

The artists, in their separate ways, capture the different flavours of Mediterranean Malta. Galea takes poetic delight in the luscious fruit, flowers and vegetation that are her subjects in her watercolours.

In Borg Cardona’s oil paintings her attention is caught by the formal baroque setting of the Manoel Theatre, and her whimsical, analytical eye captures and impressionistically digests the audience and the performers. The exhibition is open at the Embassy of Malta , 23 RueD’Artois, Paris, until January 19.
