The crude, shameful and vulgar remarks, statements and actions of Labour Party exponents such as Joe Grima, Rachel Tua, Roderick Galdes, Edward Scicluna and Joe Debono Grech did not come as too much of a surprise.

It is a good reminder of what we could be in for should we decide to elect a Labour Government.

What perhaps was surprising was party leader Joseph Muscat’s lack of reaction and condemnation of them.

One must ask: does this mean that he does not have the courage to speak his mind or that he agrees with them?
