I was quite taken aback by the front-page picture (August 14) of the five men sitting outside the law courts after being charged with slightly injuring Christopher Haber, a Marsaxlokk resident who protested against their illegal occupation of the beach at Il-Magħluq.

Surely it could have been relegated to page three as I cannot understand how The Times could have stooped to such low levels in showing such a photo on the front page. I have been purchasing it for over 40 years but I have never seen such low-level journalism as I would have expected from other newspapers.

Please keep up the good work as you have always done.
