“If music be the food of love, then play on,” wrote Shakespeare once upon a time. And Gozitan restaurant Gianni’s has taken that saying and turned it on its head, by staging an event that promises lots of music and food too.

This is the start to a series of Noise events that offer a feast of entertainment, with a cabaret dining and dancing experience.

It all kicks off around 5pm today, with DJs Oz & Jay hosting, Elaine & Amy opening with an acoustic set and The Shh delivering their blend of bittersweet indie pop ahead of their debut album launch later this month.

The night will also feature special guest DJs Electro Swing Malta. No strangers to Noise events, they’re still hyped from their recent tour of the Czech Republic, so it’s safe to expect a set of eclectic dance tunes.

Kristina Casolani will also be joining them on the night, in what is a first and paves the way for an exciting collaboration in the making.

Resident DJ Mark Magro will be keeping it all together.
