I refer to Karl Consiglio’s letter (September 22) regarding the feeding of pigeons. Pigeons might look like birds but they are also called “flying rats” which carry several diseases. Regarding the law, I am under the same understanding, Malta has several laws, but are these enforced?

The pigeons are a nuisance to residents of some of the beautiful apartments in Qui-Si-Sana and Tower Road, who cannot use their balconies because of these pigeons. I do not think one should call these birds!

No to pigeon feeding – let every council ensure this law is enforced.
