On September 13, The Times quoted Joseph Grech, one of the founders of the Dom Mintoff Foundation, stating that the foundation “is being registered as a non-profit organisation”.

For precision’s sake, the Office of the Commissioner for Voluntary Organisations only received an e-mail on August 30 from Fundazzjoni Duminku Mintoff enquiring what documents are required to enrol as a voluntary organisation. At present, however, there is no application from the foundation to enrol as a voluntary organisation in terms of the Voluntary Organisations Act 2007.
