What sort of agenda has PBS got that it failed to again give coverage to Pierre and Nevise Borg Caligari’s initiative to raise funds in aid of local animal sanctuaries, feeders and the AAA?

Since when does PBS not cover a fundraising campaign...- Tony Mizzi, Qormi

Hundreds attended the dog walk with family and pets and over 1,000 bikers congregated in aid of such a worthy cause. Yet, the PBS newsroom even failed to hint that such an event was to take place!

In 2007, €2,300 were collected in aid of AAA and a voucher refundable for food was given after the first ride! In 2008, over €7,000 were collected in aid of SOS Animals Malta. In 2009, the sum went up to €13,500. Last year, the sum was even bigger, €23,000, spread among animal sanctuaries and over 50 feeders in Malta.

Since when does PBS not cover a fundraising campaign that truly deserved national coverage?

When is a congregation of more than 1,000 bikers not news for the national station?

Have we come to a state that coverage is only given by PBS if a minister attends?

If this is the case, PBS has certainly gone to the dogs by not going to the dogs in need, ignoring fundraising initiatives for abandoned animals.
