I believe that newscasters who read the news mainly in the evenings on local television stations wear borrowed clothing from shops wanting to promote their products.

If this is the case, surely the retailers who provide such outfits should keep an eye on the newscasters to ensure that their attire is suitable?

Very often the jackets worn are badly fitting, which does nothing for the promoters.

I am actually quite surprised the newsreaders agree to wear such garments. Someone ought to have a look at the foreign television stations to see how their broadcasters are dressed.
