Timesofmalta.com, in collaboration with a team of young professionals, will this week be launching a new audio-visual section dedicated to the young.

The videos on the Zone will focus on young people’s career choices and issues concerning their work today.

The section will feature video interviews with young, talented people in Malta and overseas who have embarked on different careers, from dance and music to e-marketing specialists and jewellery makers.

Viewers will watch them narrate personal stories about their professions, the difficulties they encounter, their salary issues and achievements.

With this section, timesofmalta.com aims to help the younger viewers to get a better understanding of what it takes to work in various economic fields; the qualifications different professions require; the current market demand and supply for a profession and the further opportunities on offer.

The new section will also aim to showcase young local talent, people who are professionally or personally involved and dedicated to various forms of art.

Through this section, timesofmalta.com aims to create an open platform where young people can discuss various issues they deal with today, but also a forum where they can share their own work, professional experiences, achievements and struggles.

It is also a space where they can inspire their peers to study, create and build meaningful and successful personal and professional lives.

Video features on the Zone will be updated twice weekly.

Send your own videos or contact the Zone team to request an interview featuring your career or talent thezone@timesofmalta.com or thezone@googlegroups.com.
